This is a spring pond that emits water from underground water of Mt. Fuji. It consists of eight springs that spring from the womb of Sacred Peak Fuji, and has been worshiped as a fountain of God since ancient times, and many legends have been handed down. The clear water that has been filtered over a period of about 80 years is a beautiful and mysterious process where snow melts on Mt. Fuji and is filtered between lava underground impervious tanks. It is a national natural monument selected as one of the 100 Best Waters in Japan.
